I've been a member under this profile name for 5 years and longer under a previous one. I subscribe to several sites and choose which ones to support financially based upon how easy the site is to use, the number of people in my area and the level and number of services provided its members. Bareback.com has never sorted Online Members by location, which makes it really annoying when you have to scroll through pages and pages of people in states 2000 miles away and in other countries just to find someone close to you. The constant pressure to become a Gold or Silver member have been big turn offs considering how many years the SAME requests for improvements have been made and ignored. So, this was not one of the sites I ever chose to support financially.

Now, after ALL this time and two previous disastrous attempts, another extremely problematic site is up and you have the nerve to now not let non-paying members view XXX pics which members have made public by their own choice in their profiles? In other words, you are again asking us to be supporting members by using reduced services to your free members as leverage, and that stinks. I could accept not being able to blow them up as a free member, but not to see any pics at all in profiles where the member has chosen ONLY to submit XXX pics has now reduced this site to the very, very bottom of my list of sites to belong to at all let alone support financially.

By offering free memberships, you increase your ability to attract advertisers. If you had to rely only on paid members to sell your site to advertisers, you wouldn't do near as well as you do. So, all sites such as this NEED their free members. But, to keep them and eventually transition them to paying memberships can only come by treating your members well and offering them a GOOD site. All the pics in my profile are XXX ... so now, the value of my profile to me is radically reduced because so few people can now see those pics. In addition, I can't see other members' pics, so what is the value of this site to me now? Zip. Unless, of course, I support you financially besides supporting you by upping your numbers for your advertisers. But, you know .... you've done nothing in the past 3 years to make me want to support you financially. Criticisms fall on deaf ears. And now, your strong arm attempt to make us supporting members by rendering the site useless if we do not is offensive. Not only have you not hooked me as a supporting member, you have now lost me and any chance that that may ever happen in the future. Congratulations. I'm sure I am not the only one to feel this way ... and I urge the others who feel the same to forget this site and move on.

So .... I no longer wish to be ANY kind of member. There are now other sites ... and they are more reliable, more friendly to ALL members and better in navigation and searching. So, this is my notice to delete my profile.

As I have said, we have been working on all the issues that are reported to us. I know there are many. There always are with a site this large and complicated. When the issues are resolved and all the bugs are fixed, we start working on enhancements. The site will get better,faster and stronger and more and more enhancements will come. The first site we built took a while to get right but it would not handle the load of members online at the same time. The asp site which has been live for 5 years was based on code that was unfixable as the entire site was built around the this code and nothing could be changed or upgraded. The programmers that built that site tried to rebuild it and failed. We had to start from scratch. We did. We have a live site. It has issues. Like always, we work hard to fix them. They will be fixed. Enhancements will then be made. Enhancements like Zip Code searches, etc will all be added. First we have to get the site stable and use to the large number of users online at the same time.

The Administrative team has been answering e-mails from the Contact Us area and approving profiles and photos. The programmers have been working overtime on fixing the issues. Each day it gets better. I have put tons of money into the site and this is the site we have. I will keep working hard to fix the issues and make it better. I have been here since Day 1 and I'm not going anywhere.
