Greetings from Ghana?

I have just deleted a message I got form Ghana and reported it as Spam.

I am very wary of any contacts from Africa - especially as this one implied knowing me, which is impossible.

I know of people in the UK who have got very badly burned through contacts with Africa, so, at the risk of seeming to stereotype, I hope that the site, from Adminstartors to the rest of us can be particularly discerning about messages from parts of Africa, or folk from countries such as Ghana wanting to become members of this site.

I've heard that excuse all the time. Why not request pics or cell numbers before clicking the spam button?

Scams are not central to African countries.

Edit: There is no location for any African territory, that's why you got that message.
