gam1069
I just read this topic: http://www.thebody.com/content/art49400.html Some guys say it is not infectious if a POZ guy is undetected. Does it mean if I am NEG, and I top an undetected POZ btm, I will be safe? I am NEG, but I love bareback. What a dilema? I wonder what other guys like me will choose to do? BAREMEDEEP
My suggestion to you is to check with medical experts, I had been face with that dilema of having sex with und-Poz men. My opinion is that there is a high risk of cathing the virus...However, We all are at risk with those that say they are Neg. and only check themselves once a year. I check every 4 months if I had more than one partner at year.
gam1069
I just topped my undetectable POZ buddy bareback last Friday night. Love the feeling. That's my 40th Birthday night. We hanged out and had some drinks then back to his place. He asked me to put on condom. But I insisted to fuck him bareback. I have been fucking him for years, but always with condoms. This time I wanted to something different at my birthday night. I'm not regretted.
tnbiohazard
The risk is actually quite low, and there is no known case of someone contracting HIV from a person who is undetectable. That being said, there is no doctor that I know of who'd say that it's impossible. There's many factors that can play into this. Just even the idea that the persons virus may be becoming resistant to their meds, and if they haven't had a check up in awhile, the risk is there that they might be more contageous than they thought. That being said, again, the risk of that is still low. So what you need to do is ask yourself if the risk is worth taking. If you don't want to take any risk, then DON'T DO IT! If you feel that you need to have unprotected sex with someone who is undetectable, then you need to realize their is a risk, and know that you want to take it anyway. I hope that helps, bud.
ozpozraw
You should treat everyone who bare backs as poz no matter what they say! More likely to get HIV from taking loads rather than giving but apparently there is always a risk. Some tops I know have fucked raw for years and are not poz - but it only takes one occasion! Others only top, but are poz, I think size of cock and how they fuck counts too! These guys are in the huge cock size so may rip tears in the ass as they fuck, or they fuck really rough! Small tears may be unseen but still give blood contact, and if there are any small scratches or nicks on cockhead or shaft that's where the virus can get in. Guest luv2bfree
It is never safe having unprotected sex, especially if it is anonymous. But, from what I understand the risk is much lower for contracting HIV if a person is undetectable, but, still not an impossibility.
Seaguy
Latest evidence says that your safer fucking an undetectable guy than someone who claims to be neg http://www.queerty.com/study-undetectable-guys-do-not-transmit-hiv-to-negative-sex-partners-20140305/

Topping puts you at low risk and then adding his undetectable status basically puts you and no risk.
Guest BUTTerNUTTer
Several years back, I fucked an older guy for over a year, not knowing he was poz. He told me he was neg, but him being a well known writer and college professor, I wiki'd his name and voila, his name and history came up stating he was POZ. I confronted him and he admitted he was poz, albeit undetectable. After telling him how fucked he was, I fucked him a few more times, then stopped seeing him. I abstained from sex for the most part of a year and got myself tested a few times. Luckily for me, I'm still neg. My PCP is a specialist on STI's and HIV and gives great insight into how diseases are spread and which one's can still be spread even with a condom. He has tons of experience with the GLBT community and volunteers information, for those too scared to ask as I was at one time.
LKMike
Was the question sex with undetected guys or undetectable guys? Sex with undetected guys is probably the most risky, as they are most likely to have the highest viral load. Undetectable guys on the other hand, have their vital load checked regularly and controlled. Latest research showed no one in a two year test was infected by a poz partner on meds for either hetero sexual couples or homo sexual couples. The only instances of infection occurred when a partner cheated and was infected by a third person, this was proven by checking the strain of infecting hiv compared to their partners.

realgbm
The risk is very low. Chances are less than 0.5% percent of becoming poz if the person is undetectable and on meds. Most guys that become poz are playing with people that DO NOT know there status. You should always treat everyone as if they were poz. There are some men that do not play by the rules and do not disclose their status so when you bareback you take responsibility for yourself. I have had several neg buddies i played with in the past, but I had to put that relationship on the back burner because they were playing to loose with themselves and I did not want to be the blame for their change in status. I have resumed many of those relationships since then because they have converted and it was more than evident that their source was someone that did not know their own status. Guest barehole4use
From what i know too the risk is very very low, It's one of the main reasons i avoid taking meds already poz for over 5 years with a high viral load but still love getting fucked bare. snaketat
I think that you start with the premise that most men are horn-dogs and would do anything for sex---maybe even fib? When I resumed barebacking, I just made the decision that every raw cock was poz and that I would/could be infected. The funny part is that the guy who pozzed me was shealthing when he did it. He claimed to be " D and D free" and was clearly neither (but he IS a talented cocksman). Yes, it is true there is less chance with an undetectable guy.......but guys can claim that just as they claim to be " d an d free". I even have run into some neg guys who claim to be poz. One is actively chasing...but will not admit it...but lies about his status so poz guys will fuck him. A guy who does not know is perhaps the worst case. A recently infected guy can have a huge VL and not know it. Mine ranged into the middle 500K range a few weeks after testing poz (and about 10 weeks after being infected. That is the kind of load just waiting for a welcoming dark hole. Really a crap shoot to try and be fully safe and always bb.
Guest barehole4use
I do know my viral load is very high but i keep that to myself, i want to infect others so i'm always looking for tops that will fuck me bare i never ask anyone's status. So snaketat a guy who does not know is not the only one that is contagious. there are still POZ men that like to infect & breed others.
