It's true there is a lot of conflicting information out there. The reason is that most of the advice is written for pussies. They assume that you are a breeder and that you use condoms. If you are gay and going bareback all the rules go out the door!

Most people advise using a water-based lubricant like AstroGlide. The only reason for that is that alcohol bases lubes can cause condoms to degrade. That is not really an issue for most Bareback.com members!

As a natural barebacker you can use just about anything you want other than chilli oil - unless you want a serious pain in the ass. Vaseline works well and so does cold cream. You can of course use desensitizing lubes if your ass is really tight! Almost any sex shop will have a good selection - but why not be creative! Conditioner is good. Shampoo sucks - in can irritate anal nerve endings. My personal favorite is Eros. It is a bit expensive but works wonders.
